MALAYSIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
This is the first time Sikhs celebrated Independence day in a gurdwara sahib. A huge
national flag was made of a Malaysian delicacy called coconut candy. It was 30ft in length
by 15ft wide which was made using 700 coconuts, sugar, milk and took us 3days to
complete. This was not done to get place in the book of record but it was more like
community get together event.
ONE HUNDRED TWENTY SEVEN type of VEGETARIAN
FOOD 2005
It all started with a group of naujawans talking about different type of north Indian
vegetarian food and sweets which is possible to do. We started listing it down and
amazingly it came to 127 and that's where we said let's go for it. Then it was Vesakhi
2005, with our sangats participation nothing was impossible, we made it all 127 different
types of food, sweets and drinks in a day.
AMAN PEACE CELEBRATION
Our Gurdwara Sahib joins in the 400th Parkash Dihara on The Aman Peace
